Brett Wales goes back to his musical roots in this album, drawing heavily from his musical idol and inspiration, Klaus Wunderlich and the sounds of the famous WERSI Helios Organ.
Klaus Wunderlich was a German musician who became known for his unique arrangements of popular songs and his innovative use of multitracking when in the studio. He released over 100 albums during his career and is widely regarded as one of the most influential organists of the 20th century. His music blended various styles, including jazz, pop, and classical, and his energetic performances made him a crowd favorite.
When recording this album, Brett combined vintage recording techniques with modern studio production to create this classic Wersi sound reminisent of the great master, Klaus Wunderlich.
Although the WERSI Helios comes from a different era, Brett has shown that the instrument is not limited to a particular genre or style, but can be used to create a diverse range of sounds and musical experiences.
